The Douglas County Government Senior Citizen Tax Workoff Program allows you to work off some of the property taxes you owe on your home in Douglas County. You may get help from this program if you are age 60 or older and have a disability.

How can this program help me?

This program allows you to work for Douglas County to earn money to pay the County portion of your property tax. You must be a qualifying older adult or a person with a disability. You can work up to 100 hours, but earn no more than the amount of property tax due. If you perform work, you can be given a check that is made out to the County Treasurer.

To apply for this program, print and fill out the application form and mail it to your local office.
